Thursday evening Storm Team forecast (01/02/2013)

Light rain is continuing to move across the area, but we do have big changes on the way tonight. A blast of arctic air is expected to head our way late tonight.

The rain will start to end around 7:00 pm with much cooler air moving in behind the showers. The big story tonight is going to be the wind chill values. Blustery winds plus cooler temperatures will make temperatures actually feel like they are in the upper teens to lower 20s. We haven't seen wind chills this low since February of 2012. The actual low temperature tonight will be 34 degrees. The night will start mostly cloudy but gradually clear into the overnight hours.

Friday will completely different compared to what we saw today. Expect abundant sunshine, cooler temperatures, and breezy conditions. Highs tomorrow will struggle to reach 50 degrees...so bundle up and crank up the heat!
