MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the WTXL First Alert Weather Center ...

Spotty thunderstorms are moving to the north and northeast through mid-evening, with occasional lightning and downpours. A couple of strong storms are possible, but should not be a widespread concern. Fewer clouds are expected overnight as lows fall into the low and mid 70s. Friday will see a spread of rain more broadly in the Chattahoochee River region, less coverage in the southeastern Big Bend. Highs remain warmer than seasonal average in the lower 90s.  Scattered showers and storms, along with ongoing summer-like warmth, will continue all weekend. A drier air mass is set to enter by next Tuesday; it may result in lows around 70° but highs will still rise to near and around 90°.
