MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the WTXL First Alert Weather Center ...

Despite the arrival of a drier air mass, late-day temperatures remain warm. Isolated showers are possible in the lower Suwannee Valley through mid-evening thanks to the northeast wind flow and the positioning of the stalling front. Areas of clear sky are likely for inland areas overnight with lows in the mid to upper 60s. A warm Friday afternoon is projected with a sunny morning leading to a partly cloudy afternoon. Isolated to scattered showers are possible east of the capital region. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s.  An increase in clouds is likely Saturday afternoon, with few showers forming ahead of a stronger cold front that will induce a clearing trend Sunday and temperature levels more typical of fall for the area.  Periods of rain are coming for next week.
