MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the WTXL First Alert Weather Center ...

Most of the late-day and evening rain and storms will effect western counties, with less coverage evident in the Suwannee Valley. Still, isolated spots of heavy rain and possible before the activity wanes after sunset. Lows will again be in the mid 70s with scattered clouds. High pressure off the Florida east coast will try to nudge westward, but it won't be enough to stall the afternoon rain pattern. Better rain probabilities will focus on western counties again, with some drier trends east. Highs range from the upper 80s to low 90s Friday. The weekend rain split may be more obvious, with a decrease in chances in general for early next week prior to the approach of a midweek cold front.
