MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the WTXL First Alert Weather Center ...

A few more areas of rain and thunder are possible through this evening, especially south of the state line, with locally heavy downpours and briefly strong gusts in a few of the storms.  Leftover clouds will thin out overnight, leaving some breaks of clearer sky and mild temps in the low 70s.  Sunshine in the morning will lead to passing clouds by afternoon with east winds dragging some moisture into the region, producing another batch of scattered showers which may be more likely in the Suwannee Valley Friday afternoon. Forecast highs remain warm in the 90° range.  Over the weekend, shower activity becomes more scarce, especially by Sunday, as winds become northerly and drier air takes control.  Morning lows will fall to the upper 60s and daytime temps climb to seasonably warm levels with a lack of rain action.
