MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the WTXL First Alert Weather Center ...

A line of showers, rain, and thunderstorms will steadily move from west to east across the region this evening, bringing times of wind gusts and occasional downpours along with isolated occurrences of severe-level gusts, and possibly a waterspout or tornado. As the storm line moves east, thunderstorm intensity will decrease with time. It will be generally cloudy overnight with scattered shower chances and lows in the mid to upper 60s. A cold front will follow by midday Friday, but it will stay cloudy with off-and-on rain through early Friday afternoon. Thunderstorms may re-generate in far eastern counties in the afternoon. Highs will be in the 70s to near 80°. A temporary clear and cool trend is foreseen Saturday, with clouds returning by Sunday afternoon. A few more waves of rain are possible next week.
