MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the WTXL First Alert Weather Center ...

Widely scattered showers and storms have formed in many parts of the area, but have been more numerous near and east of the Suwannee River.  The east to northeast wind flow will bring many of those showers westward, or perhaps closer to the coastline in some cases. A limited risk for stronger storms exists, though most instances will be brief downpours and some lightning. Lows tonight will be in the mid to low 70s. The daytime rain pattern Friday and through the weekend will be similar, with some activity prompted by a broad upper low over the peninsula this weekend.  No tropical activity is expected locally through early next week.
