MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the WTXL First Alert Weather Center ...

Shower coverage will increase through the evening as a disturbance enters the area from the west. Cloudy sky will persist all night with periods of showers and rain and stable temperatures in the upper 60s and lower 70s. As low pressure comes nearer, south winds will increase, especially in the bay and near the coast, which can support a few thunderstorms.  Overall severe weather chances are low, but isolated and confined to sections south of I-10 and in the Suwannee River region. By midday Friday, a clearing trend is set to start with temps warming into the upper 70s before the actual cold front passes by late-day. The weekend will feature additional sunshine with cool, brisk conditions, which should continue through Tuesday.
