TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- There's been plenty of shower activity throughout the area these last few days, but all that is set to come to an end very soon. A high pressure will build near the region Friday which will help clear out he overcast skies that have lingered.
Tonight, it'll be cloudy and chilly with lows falling near 40 degrees. A few isolated showers are possible mainly for our eastern counties, but those chances remain low, near 20 percent.
Friday ends this week with a gradually clearing sky thanks to the previously mentioned high pressure. Winds will be light, about 5 to 10 mph from the northeast to east. Due to the sunnier conditions, daytime highs will heat to the mid 50s throughout. Friday night will remain clear with lows falling to the upper 30s.
