MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the WTXL First Alert Weather Center ...

A warm-up is underway with wind becoming southeast and staying that way through Friday.  However, overnight temperatures will reflect levels closer to seasonal averages; lows will reach the low to mid 40s. Periods of sunlight are still likely in the daytime as some upper clouds sneak through, promoting highs that can top out in the 70s. Clouds will thicken and increase later Friday, but rain appears to hold off until early Saturday morning. An upper disturbance will reach the coast from the Gulf with an initial round of rain and a few stronger storms. A cold front will follow Saturday afternoon and stall into Sunday near the tri-state region. As conditions will be warmer, showers and storms are probable, and a few of the storms may be briefly strong.  The next cold trend is set to begin Tuesday.
