MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- The only area of minor concern in the tropical Atlantic basin is a disorganized wave of moisture several hundred miles southwest of the Cape Verde Islands, situated in an environment of extremely limited development favorability. The upper-level winds just west of the system are very strong, and that will keep this disturbance from becoming a better-organized low in the long-range aspect of the outlook.
There are no other areas that bear any close watching in the next few days ahead.
