(WTXL) — The Big Bend and South Georgia region will be waking up to temperatures in the 30s Wednesday morning.
Starting Tuesday night, northwest and north wind will increase, carrying colder air into the region.
The sky will begin to clear and the temperatures will start falling, reaching upper 30s and lower 40s by Wednesday morning.
More sunshine is forecast but it will be cold and blustery at times, with highs in the low to mid 50s.
A light freeze is possible Thursday morning across the area, but it will remain mostly sunny Thursday afternoon.
Clouds return for the end of the week, with a damp and unsettled weekend expected.
