TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) -- Tropical Storm Ida currently has 45 mph maximum sustained winds and is moving west-northwest at 15 mph. Ida is expected to slow down and remain basically stationary by Tuesday. The shear is expected to decrease midweek but Ida may be too disorganized at that point to take advantage of the favorable conditions. Therefore it is not expected to strengthen much over the next few days.
