MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- Tropical Storm Erika's remnants will move into the peninsula over Monday-Tuesday and has the potential to cause flood issues across the state. The concerns diminish along the Big Bend and the Panhandle, but nonetheless, eastern counties may have to keep a look out for rain concerns.
Meanwhile, far in the eastern Atlantic near the Cape Verde Islands, tropical storm Fred has formed and will likely intensify into a hurricane Monday. The islands there are under a rare Hurricane Warning due to this. The storm will likely weaken into a depression Friday as it pushes northwest into colder waters of the Atlantic.
