Sunday evening tropics check (09/01/2013)

Right now there is one area of low pressure located approximately 100 miles east of the Lesser Antilles that has been showing signs of strengthening and organization. As of right now the upper level winds are conducive for intensification, however dry air in the mid to upper levels of the atmosphere could inhibit development. This storm has been given a 40% chance of development over the next 48 hours.
