One area of low pressure extending from Puerto Rico southwestward over the central Caribbean is full of disorganized showers and thunderstorms. The environment around the system is expected to remain unfavorable for development as the low slowly moves west and southwest. It has been given a 10% chance of development over the next 5 days according to the National Hurricane Center. Regardless of development heavy rain is likely over Hispaniola, Puerto Rico, and Hispaniola.
