MIDWAY, FL (WTXL) -- At this point in time, there are no areas of tropical interest being watched.
The two areas that were being monitored 24 hours ago no longer have the potential to gain tropical characteristics. The areas will continue to produce locally heavy rainfall over the next few days.
The northern Leeward Islands, Virgin Islands and the Greater Antilles will continue to see rain from one system. Northeast Florida and South Georgia will see rain from a separate system tonight, but by Monday it will push southwest away from the region.
