Sunday evening Tropics check (07/31/2016)

MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- We're focusing attention on one disturbance as the Cape Verde disturbance has weakened significantly. The stronger one in the Caribbean continues to maintain intensity and it has a 50% chance of developing into a tropical depression by Tuesday and a 70% chance in the next five days. Models have the storm pushing nearly west through the Caribbean Sea, toward the Yucatán Peninsula. No mainland U.S. threat looks likely so far. More updates on Monday morning.
