Taking an in depth look into the tropics indicates little to no development in the next few days.  This is associated with large amounts of dry air throughout portions of the Atlantic Basin as well as the Caribbean. This dry air as well as relatively large amounts of dust coming off the coast of Africa act as a buffer to anything that tries to build in the next few days. Associated with this, strong amounts of upper level winds, or shear, are inhibiting more development of systems. Overall, the tropics are not ripe for development, currently. If anything should develop though you can always turn to Storm Team 27 for your tropical updates.
