TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL)-- The tropics are relatively quiet on this Sunday due to an area of high pressure situated over the Atlantic. With that said, there is an elongated tropical wave in the eastern Atlantic. There is an outside chance that this could develop during the next five days. The National Hurricane Center suggests that there is a 10 percent chance of slow development as the disturbance moves toward the west at 15 to 20 mph.
