MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- The tropical wave over the Yucatán Peninsula is continuing to organize and now has a 70% chance of developing into a tropical depression within the next two to five days. Many forecast models have the system moving toward the southeastern coast of Texas as a possible tropical storm. The next name on the list would be Bill, if that were the case. One of the main threats with the system will be the flood potential.
Meanwhile, in the eastern Pacific, Tropical Storm Carlos will likely re-intensify into a hurricane as it travels parallel and very close to the Pacific Mexican coast.
