TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) -- Post tropical cyclone Matthew currently has sustained winds of 75 mph and is moving east-northeast at 15 mph. Over the next few days Matthew is expected to continue weakening and will continue to move further into the Atlantic Basin.
Tropical storm Nicole has maximum sustained winds of 65 mph and is nearly stationary. Nicole is becoming more organized and is forecast to become a hurricane in the short term forecast. It will continue to remain stationary before moving towards the north-northeast due to a strengthening ridge. Nicole will not threaten our weather locally.
