Right now an Air Force Reconnaissance aircraft is investigating the system to see if it has a closed surface circulation. The tropical wave has been given a 30% chance of developing into a tropical storm within the next 48 hours. The system is moving WNW at 15 to 20 mph passing north of the Leeward islands and Puerto Rico tonight...and then moving over the southern Bahamas on Tuesday.
