There is intense tropical wave very far away in the eastern Atlantic about 1150 miles ESE of the windward islands. This system has a 60% chance of becoming a tropical depression or storm within the next 48 hours.
There is evidence that closed surface circulation may be forming...and the environment around the system is becoming more conducive for future development.
Right now the system is far away and not affecting us locally but we will continue to monitor this system as it moves west at 25 mph.
