TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- The remnants of Tropical Storm Beatriz (circled in yellow) are still holding on, but just barely. Over the last day, the thunderstorm activity has diminished. The stronger upper level winds will inhibit any strengthening. What's left of this storm is sitting in the Gulf of Mexico, about 230 miles from east of Tampico, Mexico.
At this time, there are no other points of interest for tropical weather.
