The local threat for any sore of tropical influence is very low however there are two areas of low pressure that we are keeping our eyes on.
The area closest to home is associated with the remnants of Gabrielle. It is centered a couple hundred miles NE of the Bahamas. Upper level winds aren't exactly favorable for strengthening however the environment looks like it could become slightly more conducive over the next few days. Therefore the system has been given a 20% chance of development over the next 48 hours and a 40% chance over the nest 5 days.
The other area is still very far away off the coast of Africa. It is already showing signs of strengthening and the environment looks favorable over the next few days. It is expected to move westward over the next few days. It has been given a 30% chance of development over the next 2 days but an 80% chance over the next 5 days.
