Sunday evening Storm Team forecast (02/09/2014)

and last updated

What a gorgeous Sunday we have had so far! High pressure at the surface will keep mostly clear skies in the forecast tonight with calm winds. Lows tonight will be in the lower 40s in inland areas and upper 40s along the coast.

Tomorrow is when we will start to notice changes in the weather pattern. Winds will switch to out of the southwest. Moisture will begin to increase as well as cloud cover. Highs on Monday will be warm again nearing the 70 degree mark. We should stay rain free until late Monday night and into Tuesday. There is a 30% chance for scattered showers on Tuesday but most of the rain will hold off until Wednesday. Wednesday there will be widespread rain and possibly some embedded thunderstorms as well.

Post frontal cloudiness and moisture could also squeeze out a few showers on Thursday. High pressure builds into the area on Friday which will bring the bright sunshine back for next weekend.
