TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- This weekend ended on a dry note due to drier air funneling into the region. Heading into Monday and Tuesday, this drier air will persist, giving us lower rain chances and sunnier days. An upper level ridge building in the southwest Gulf of Mexico, as well as a high pressure to our north are both helping to bring us the drier conditions.
Tonight, expect areas of patch fog with clear skies and calm winds. Lows fall to the mid and upper 60s.
Monday starts the week off with abundant sun and a light north wind. Rain is not expected to be a factor, though a few clouds may be possible for the later afternoon hours. Monday night is expected to be another clear one with lows falling to near 68 degrees for most.
