TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- This weekend proved to be a nice, but the sunnier conditions are not expected to last into this upcoming work week. A weak trough on Florida's east cost is expected to push westward through tomorrow evening, passing over our region. This means we'll likely see an increase in clouds tonight, with elevated rain chances for Monday afternoon and Tuesday.
Tonight, expect an increase in clouds with lows in the mid 70s throughout. Winds will remain light from the southeast.
Monday starts the work week with partly cloudy skies and temperatures heating into the lower and mid 90s. By the afternoon, conditions will become cloudier with a 40 percent chance of scattered rain and thunderstorms. This rain chance will decrease into the evening, though our cloud cover may linger around. Monday night lows drop back to the mid 70s.
