TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- The upper level ridge over the western Atlantic will help bring in more southerly to southwesterly winds for Monday. As it's doing so, a low pressure system over Kansas will slowly push southeastward toward out area. This low pressure and associated cold front will likely impact our weather closer to mid-week.

Tonight will be another seasonal-feeling night with lows in the low to mid 70s. Skies will remain cloudy to partly cloudy with a calm wind. Rain is not expected during the overnight hours.

Monday starts with partly cloudy conditions. By lunchtime, the clouds and rain chances increase for a mostly cloudy afternoon with 40 percent rain coverage. Highs on Monday will heat to the upper 80s and low 90s through the entire area. Monday night lows fall to the lower and mid 70s once again. Rain will not be expected Monday night.
