TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- A high pressure continues to sit just off the New England coast which being us easterly winds. Beginning Monday, our humidity will begin to increase through the area. Right now, there is a tropical storm that is nearing the Gulf of Mexico, from the Caribbean Sea. By midweek, this storm is expected to near the Florida Panhandle and bring rainy and breezy conditions to the area.
Tonight, we'll keep a few clouds on hand with lows falling to the low 70s. Winds remain from the east at about 5 mph.
Monday is forecast to be partly cloudy to partly sunny with a 30 percent chance of scattered rain in the afternoon. Highs climb to the low 90s, while the humidity returns to the area. Winds will stay from the east, about 5 to 15 mph. Monday night will be partly cloudy with lows in the lower 70s.
