TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- This weekend finished with beautiful blue skies and light winds courtesy of an area of high pressure. This weather pattern will continue for the next few days. Another cold front with arctic air is expected to pass the area by midweek. This will bring back a cloudier sky, and frigid temperatures.

Tonight will be cold as overnight lows fall to the upper 20s and lower 30s. There is a freeze warning in effect for Hamilton, Columbia, and Suwannee counties in Florida from 3 to 9 AM. Pets, plants, and exposed pipes should be protected from these temperatures.

Monday will be a sunny day with highs warming to the mid 50s. Winds will be light from the north to northeast at about 5 to 10 mph. Monday night will also be cold with lows falling close to 30 degrees under clear skies.
