Storm Tuesday morning forecast (10/15/2013)

and last updated

Another rain free day here across north Florida and south Georgia. A skinny ridge of high pressure will help keep sinking air in the region which suppresses any sort of rain development. This afternoon cloud cover will keep us in the 70s for most of the day, but eventually topping out in the lower 80s. You'll walk outside to partly sunny skies with winds out of the NE at 5-10 mph.

Tonight lows will be above average in the lower 60s with a mostly cloudy sky.

A frontal system will makes it way towards the area by the weekend, this will bring the rain chance up only slightly to about 30% for Friday and Saturday. I will be mostly a cloud event as most of the energy associated with this system will stay to the north of us.
