TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - A tornado watch has been issued for the western half of the Big Bend region and many south Georgia counties in the WTXL viewing area, in effect until 6:00 and 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time.
The cold front will continue to make its way through the area over the morning and it is expected to clear out later this afternoon. A cool down is in store as high pressure moves into the region with lows overnight reaching the lower 40s and highs for the rest of the week in the lower and mid 60s. A coolm calm weekend is expected as high pressure continues builds in causing sunny skies and mild temperatures. Lows this weekend will be in the lower and mid 30s and highs will be in the mid and upper 60s. Small rain chance as the next work week begins.
