TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Another soggy day ahead with on and off storms expected courtesy of the remnants of Erika spinning through the region. We'll see some sunshine, however, which will boost temps to seasonably warm highs this afternoon to around 90°. As the system drifts to the northeast, winds spin counter clockwise around the system and they'll come out of the northwest tomorrow ushering in drier air, especially early in the day, before a sea breeze pushes inward from the Gulf bubbling up a few storms in the afternoon and evening. Temps will get quite toasty, as a northwesterly breeze is a warm one this time of year so expect numbers in the mid 90s in the afternoon after starting out the day in the mid 70s. A few scattered afternoon and evening storms are possible through Friday with toasty temps in the mid 90s. For FSU's first home game, we could see a few on and off storms in the afternoon as well courtesy of winds turning from the south ushering in more moisture. Temps back off slightly to the low 90s. By next week, rain chances also back off as high pressure builds in, only turning isolated to scattered in nature.
