TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - The clear and cool trend continues. The winds that added an extra bite to the cool on Tuesday will subside during your midweek. But we'll still keep the chill around as high pressure filters into the southeast. Winds will continue to overall flow out of the northwest so expect temps to start off this morning in the low to mid 30s. Afternoon highs will only get into the upper 50s. It'll be another cool one tonight with temps near freezing. Outlying areas may see some light frost on the ground so bring in your furry friends and sensitive potted plants. Keep this trend up through the weekend, because overnight lows will continue to plummet into the low and mid 30s while highs will slowly but surely creep upward to near and even above average numbers. Low 60s for Thursday and Friday afternoon highs. By the weekend we'll be in the mid 60s and Sunday after church numbers will flirt with the 70° mark. Expect 70s into the early part of next work week as well with a few showers possible next Tuesday as another front approaches the area.
