Bundle up as you head outdoors today, it’s going to be cold and windy. The good news is we should have plenty of sunshine this afternoon, but even with that we will still only reach a high of 58. Some gusts today could get up to 25 mph, and cold air will continue to filter in with high pressure bringing in winds from the Northeast. A freeze warning is in effect from 1 a.m. to 8 a.m. Thursday morning as the cold temperatures of the season move in. Lows around the area are expected to range between 28 and 32 degrees. By Thursday afternoon, we will have mostly sunny skies with a high of 67 and much calmer winds. On Friday afternoon temps will hit in the low 70’s. We will have partly cloudy skies and a chance for showers is possible during the evening. Saturday will be a bit more on the mild side with temps in the mid 70’s. We will see a mix of sun and clouds and have a 30% chance of showers throughout the day. Sunday will be even warmer, highs are expected to top out in the upper 70’s, but skies will be mostly cloudy, showers are expected throughout the day with the slight chance of a thunderstorm. Rain showers will hang around on Monday and begin to clear out buy Tuesday afternoon.
