As high pressure exits New England, we will see have a bit of a breeze today coming out of the ENE. A few short wave troughs will move through the eastern Gulf of Mexico and also pass over the stalled front to our south, which will strike up some showers across our eastern counties and offshore. We will have a mix of sun and clouds today, with the chance for showers and a high of 67. The chance for light and scattered showers will stay with us through Saturday due to mid to upper level ridging. Thursday will be partly sunny and slightly warmer with a high of 72. The warm up continues on Friday, with highs reaching 76 degrees under partly cloudy skies. A deep trough will help push a cold front through the area during the day on Saturday. Rain chances look pretty low as of now, but our temperatures will cool down quickly across the area. Sunday will be dry and partly sunny with a chilly high of 63. Mostly sunny skies stay with us on Monday with highs in the mid 60’s. Things could get interesting heading into our holiday week. On Tuesday we will start the day partly cloudy and turn overcast by the afternoon, as some heavier rain could move through the region overnight.
Have a happy Wednesday!
