TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) -- Low pressure near the Carolina's will continue to move closer to the area today creating higher rain coverage at 60%. More clouds and rain expected so highs today will be seasonable in the lower 90s with heat indices in the triple digits. For Thursday and Friday the low pressure will move into the Atlantic and ridging will be occurring so winds will turn southwesterly creating above normal rain chances at 70%. Highs will be in the lower 90s for both those days. Unsettled weather for the weekend with more rain expected as another area of low pressure begins to move in. Hot conditions for Saturday and Sunday with highs reaching the lower and mid 90s. A wet start to next work week is expected with rain coverage ranging from 30%-50%.
