MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- A slow moving cold front will help enhance the thunderstorm chance throughout this Wednesday. Aside from the scattered storms, it is still expected to be a warm and humid day, before cooler and drier air moves in after Thursday.

Daytime highs this Wednesday are expected to reach the mid to upper 80s. Clouds will be expected to dominate this afternoon, with rain coverage at around 60%. Good news with this front: Severe weather activity is expected to be near zero for our region. Lows tonight are forecast to drop to the low to mid 70s with mostly cloudy skies. Lingering rain is still possible as a secondary front pushes the slow moving front out of our area by Thursday afternoon. Highs on Thursday are expected to reach the upper 80s. And then, Thursday night, morning lows are finally going to take the tumble we've mentioned for the last several days with numbers in the lower 60s.

The cooler and drier air will stay throughout the weekend with morning lows in the upper 50s to lower 60s and daytime highs in the mid to upper 80s with abundant sunshine.
