TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - A thin band of quick-moving showers are expected before sunrise ahead of a cold front that will bring slightly cooler temps for the next couple days. Temps will start off in the mid 50s out west to mid 60s in the Suwannee Valley. By the afternoon mid 60s for western areas is likely, we'll get to around 70° in Tallahassee, and mid 70s are possible towards I-75. A weak area of high pressure builds overhead allowing temps to plunge overnight back into the upper 30s region-wide. We'll begin to get a return flow set up Thursday afternoon with winds turning off the Gulf and highs will rebound into the low 70s. A stray showers is possible late in the day Thursday before another quick-moving storm system moves in squeezing out a few more showers and isolated non-severe storms for the predawn hours of Friday. Low 70s are expected again in the afternoon Friday and Saturday. High pressure builds in and that will allow for a wider temperature spread with 40s in the morning through early next week and high temps back into the mid to upper 70s.
