TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - The summery set up persists with temps in the low to mid 70s this morning and patchy fog likely for your morning rush. This afternoon, we'll likely tie the record high in the mid to upper 80s, after falling a couple degrees shy of the record yesterday due to mostly cloudy skies all day long. Today, on and off sunshine should warm us up slightly more. Expect a few pop-up storms, especially for our inland areas. Expect this same pattern to persist through Friday before some changes happen. A cold front swoops into the Deep South still allowing Saturday to be warm, until some late day storms push by. Then we'll finally filter in some drier, cooler air with highs only making it to the 70s, where we should be this time of year, and overnight lows by next work week will be in the 50s.
