TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Sunshine returns as the small, upper-level system moves out of the region. This will allow for drier conditions with minimal shower threats but more of a prevalent heat with temps this morning in the low to mid 60s and highs nearing 90° in the afternoon. Onshore breezes throughout the rest of the work week will eventually pump in Gulf moisture kicking up an isolated shower threat tomorrow and scattered shower and storm coverage for Friday. Highs will range from the upper 80s to low 90s through the rest of the 7 day forecast as we're stuck in a stagnant pattern of heat advancing northward from the tropics. This weekend looks quiet however with the shower threat pushing southeast on the backside of a boundary. Isolated sea breeze showers are possible for the first half of next week with still toasty temps in the low 90s.
