Storm Team Wednesday morning forecast (5/15/2013)

We started Wednesday with lows near record territory but now we're warming up big. Highs this afternoon will get close to average in the upper 80s with lots of sun. High pressure has a firm grip over us but it'll move slowly east for the rest of the week. Why you should care about that is because as it happens our winds will turn and be from the south; that makes it more humid so you'll be sweating a bit more by Friday. We'll have plenty of heat, plenty of moisture and a few weak disturbances passing by to have at least a <20% rain chance Thursday through the weekend. I wouldn't cancel any plans over this rain, just know you might have to dodge a shower or two. There's a huge heat dome over the middle of the country as I type this, that dome shifts east over the next few days. Highs will be close to or above 90° through the start of next week.

Be safe and have a great Wednesday!
