Storm Team Wednesday morning forecast (1/23/2013)

Posted

We started Wednesday with the coldest air we’ve had since 2012. Temperatures across the area danced into the upper 20s and low 30s but it’s an afterthought now. High pressure is firmly in control along with some dry air; that means plenty of sun and highs in the low 60s for you today. Tonight, we’ll still have a chill around but I don’t think we touch freezing, our atmosphere will start to change. That said, lows will still be in the 30s and 40s when you wake up Thursday. Thursday and Friday we’ll have the “big warm up” before our next chance at a few showers Friday night; highs will be in the low 70s. Another front will attempt, rather poorly I might add, to spark a few showers Friday night and early Saturday morning but don’t expect much. Temperatures behind the front will drop; highs Saturday afternoon won’t make it out of the 50s. Mother Nature continues the mood swings starting next week as highs climb back to near 70° but it comes with the chance at a few rain drops, which by the way, we do need. Stay tuned!

Be safe and have a great Wednesday!
