TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Clearer skies will allow for a wider temperature spread today with temps dipping into the low 50s this morning before rebounding to the low 80s with an onshore breeze kicking in this afternoon. Tonight will be even milder as clouds build in and winds from the Gulf stick with us increasing our moisture and warmth. Expect temps to only dip into the low 60s. Low 80s are expected tomorrow afternoon before scattered storms advance into the region ahead of a slow-moving cold front. Storms will likely impact our north and western areas. A few stronger, embedded storms are possible with high winds being the main impact. Heavy downpours are possible heading into Friday and most areas will pick up 2-3" of additional rainfall on top of what we saw over Easter weekend. Friday temps back off to more seasonable levels in the mid to upper 70s. Mid 70s are expected for the weekend with a few lingering showers possible early Saturday before conditions clear up for the rest of the forecast. Highs stay in the mid 70s early next week with overnight lows falling back into the upper 40s and low 50s.
