MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- Clouds will roll on in increased number today, as moisture moves inland from the Atlantic. The lingering ridge of high pressure is forecast to lose its strength over the region, allowing more of an opportunity for rainfall. Daytime highs are forecast to range in the lower to mid 80s, after starting off the morning mild, with temperatures in the lower to mid 60s. Rain coverage will be around 20% today.
Thursday, more of the same is expected, ahead of the approach of a significant cold front from the northwest. Expect moisture to build, allowing morning lows to stay in the 60s with highs in the mid 80s. Rain coverage is expected to be minimal, less than 20%.
Friday, the front pushes through, allowing cooler air to work its way on in. In the morning, however, mild and cloudy conditions will persist with lows in the 60s and an AM rain coverage at less than 20%. Highs from Friday into Sunday will fall below 80 degrees, with lows in the 40s!
