Posted

The forecast for today looks like a carbon copy of yesterday. A dome of high pressure remains over the Carolinas today, keeping temperatures warm and rain chances under 20%. Highs climb to the low 90’s this afternoon with a few clouds making their way into the area. Easterly flow off the Atlantic Ocean will increase humidity through the week, and an upper level low off the east coast of Florida will increase rain chances slightly Thursday and Friday. A frontal system will approach the area on Friday and then stall out Saturday and Sunday, increasing the chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms to 30-40%. Highs will remain in the low 90’s next week, and a slight chance of afternoon showers sticks around Monday and Tuesday.
