TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Much milder this morning than the past several days. Temps start off in the low 50s compared to the 30s we've experienced since last weekend. Expect mostly sunny skies heading into the afternoon hours and a flow from the Gulf of Mexico boosting those temps to the 80° mark. As the stable high pressure system slowly loses its grip over the region, a frontal system dives into the Deep South. This front will lose its punch as it approaches the high, so though there are some rain chances for your Thursday, most of us will only see more clouds, not more rain. Thursday looks pretty mild as well when it comes to the temps beginning in the mid 50s and climbing to above 80° in the afternoon. By Friday, we all see the effects of the backside of the cold front.  High stay cool, only getting into the upper 60s with a dry, cool breeze out of the northwest to make it feel a bit chillier. Into the weekend, an upper level disturbance could bring us some late day rainfall, especially for our south and eastern counties. It'll be a cool rainfall with temps staying plateaued in the upper 60s for highs. Early next week, temps quickly warm once again back into the mid 70s in the afternoon.
