TALLAHASSEE,Fla. (WTXL) --

Aside from a few dense fog advisories out towards the west, skies are mostly clear around the region and should stay that way the entire day. High pressure off to the east is still giving us abundant sunshine, allowing temps to warm to the 80s this afternoon. The high pressure system is expected to shift off to the east over the next couple of days which will allow for a few more clouds to pop up across the region. Rain chances come back in the forecast late Friday night and will stay with us throughout Saturday. A cold front will move across the region this weekend, which will bring us a few showers and thunderstorms on Saturday and Sunday, heavier rain will arrive here on Monday. After the front passes, temps are expected to fall below average. Tuesday looks like it will be partly cloudy with a chance of showers and temperatures in the low 70s.

Have a happy Wednesday.
